While playing or doing sports, sauna and steam bath sessions, you must take care to consume sufficient fluids.
Before starting a sauna session, drink plenty of liquids. If you do so, you will detoxify your system in a more profound, thorough and effective fashion. 
To make up for your loss of potassium as a result of a sauna session, you are advised to consume some fruit juice with 100 per cent  fruit  content.
At least two hours before and after a sauna session, avoid consuming alcohol and stimulants.
On the day of a sauna session, avoid consuming fatty foods if you can.
